Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing Software

PMM currently licenses 8 seats of Unigraphics (UG), 1 seat of CATIA software, 3 seats of SolidWorks software, 4 seats of AutoCad software and 3 seats of CADKEY software. This diversity in CAD/CAM systems provides PMM with the capability to be compatible with many graphics systems and in conjunction with the use of IGES (International Graphics Exchange Standard), virtually all customers can be accommodated.

Unigrahics (UG)

Unigraphics is a fully integrated CAID / CAD / CAM / CAE software suite addressing the entire product development process from conceptual design, to functional engineering and analysis, to manufacturing. UG incorporates Knowledge Driving Automation technology - a combination of design optimization techniques with product and process knowledge-based engineering - to dramatically improve productivity in industries like automotive, aerospace, machinery, consumer products, medical instruments and tooling. Unigraphics is used to improve productivity in the design-through-manufacturing processes at many of the world's most respected companies including General Motors, Boeing, 3M, Eastman Kodak, DENSO and General Electric.

CATIA

CATIA is the CAD/CAM software marketed by IBM and produced by Dassault Systemes, a leading developer of an integrated suite of CAD/CAM tools that provide a comprehensive engineering/ manufacturing solution. CATIA is a fully integrated process-oriented system with more that 120 separate modules that allow the user to tailor the usage to their particular needs. CATIA enables the user to build a seamless product environment from mechanical design to shape design to analysis and simulation on through to manufacturing. CATIA is heavily used in the automotive and aerospace industries, with a customer base that includes Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Cessna, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Daimler Chrysler and General Dynamics.
